Fall Favorites Can Warm Up Your Winter Wardrobe

Fashion this season is all about embracing those good vibes. Embrace what is going on around you, what influences you and your style. I’ve noticed the styles that are sticking around are ones that yet again are repeating themselves from previous decades! The 60’s, 70’s, and 90’s are not leaving our vision anytime soon. Cordaroy pieces, floppy hats, fur accessories, flared pants, moto patterns, and choker accessories are here to stay.

Fall favorites are meant to be used and worn in the winter, you just have to adjust these pieces to accommodate your style into this colder season.

Put together a Slouchy sweater with leggings, tights or flared pants. Flared dark washed jeans or flared pants with some pattern to add some texture and color to an outfit. Add a fur scarf or floppy hat to the mix & your fall outfit turns into a cozy winter look.

Grab your favorite sleeveless turtleneck and add a thermal or long sleeve tee underneath it. Add a fur vest on top or a leather jacket with moto detail for some edge. Throw in a shoulder bag, a beanie and combat boots, and your outfit is complete! You have yourself a fun, edgy and warm outfit for that next chilly day.

If neither of those seem to be working for you, try out something more plain and simple. A knitted fitted or thicker sweater dress along with a scarf, wool jacket and some thigh high or knee high boots. Maybe add some leg warmers or fun fur gloves and you have a simple ensemble for that chilly winter day.  Whether you have a ton of fall basics, fall favorites, or fall in betweens, you can make all those work into your winter wardrobe.

P.S. These are some of my favorite colors I think are going to stay around for a while this season. If you haven’t tried any of these colors, try something new, darker tones and some neutrals with some glitz are going to be your best friend this winter.
